Yesterday was such an adventure on our work site that we wanted to keep the adrenaline going today! We had the chance to sleep in this Saturday morning and relax after a successful week of working on our project.
After a delicious (sep sep!) breakfast, we all gathered our gear and were off to a nature adventure. We stopped to pick up some ha dow chicken (5-star chicken) and some fish! Our drive lasted for 2 more hours and when we finally arrived at our destination, we ate a great picnic lunch! With full tummies, swimsuits on, and with great energy we were off! We spent the next 4 hours at ERAWAN FALLS; it contains a total of 7 levels you can hike up to and all team members succeeded the hike to the top!
We took lots of cute pictures, swam in the pools, showered in the falls and had fish nibble at our dead skin! The hike included many obstacles that helped our team work together and build up more trust. There were many many stairs and climbs that helped our legs look good for the photos ;). There was also mud and algae that made us slip, fall, and find an excuse to get into the water.
Blood, sweat (and I can not express this enough), and more sweat led up to so many memories we will cherish forever! Thankfully technology has made it easy for us to share this amazing experience through plenty of pictures!
On the drive home we had the chance to enjoy the beautiful sunset and rainbows through the scenic fields of Thailand!
When we arrived at home, Khem greeted us with a party for the graduated seniors (yay)! We had delicious (arroy maak mak) Thai barbecue and other delicacies! THANK YOU KHEM, WE LOVE YOU!
Overall, it was a wonderful day that allowed us to reflect on the amazing things that exist in this world!
